A Note on Kona Low Storm RecoveryIn the wake of the recent flooding across Oʻahu, many of the animals in our care are arriving stressed, displaced and in need of extra comfort and care. Our highest priority needs right now are listed on our Storm Recovery Amazon Wish List. Items on this list have been carefully selected to provide comfort, enrichment and positive reinforcement for animals who have endured significant hardship. Your everyday Amazon purchases can directly support the animals in our care and our Pet Kōkua by Hawaiian Humane Pet Food Bank. When placing an order for delivery to Hawaiian Humane, click the box next to “this item is a gift” and include your name, address and phone number in the gift message so that we can acknowledge your generosity when it arrives.

Host Your Own Pet Food and Supplies Drive
Consider hosting a pet food and supply drive in your workplace, school, or community. Drives like these help support both our shelter animals and community members in need through our Pet Food Bank, allowing us to devote more of our resources to animal protection and lifesaving programs.
Support Our Neonate Kitten Fosters
Every year, hundreds of abandoned neonate kittens arrive in our care needing round-the-clock attention. These kittens are exceptionally vulnerable, with undeveloped immune systems that require them to be kept separate from our general shelter population in a safe, nurturing environment. Hawaiian Humane provides all training, supplies and veterinary care for our foster volunteers. What we need most is your time and compassion.
