The Hawaiian Humane Society’s Ginny Tiu Community Spay/Neuter Center is a specialized high-quality spay/neuter clinic designed to increase availability of affordable cat and dog spay/neuter services for the community.
Spay/Neuter Fees for Pet Cats and Dogs
Fees include pre-operative examination, anesthesia, surgery, microchip, nail trim and post-operative pain medication (for dogs). Elizabethan collars (e-collars) are not provided but are available for $10.

We do not accept walk-ins. An appointment is required for all animals.
To make a spay/neuter appointment for a pet cat or dog at Hawaiian Humane’s Ginny Tiu Community Spay Neuter Center, click the button below. To be eligible for spay/neuter surgery, pet cats and dogs must be at least 2 pounds and 8 weeks of age. This is a same-day procedure, meaning your pet must be picked up on the day of their procedure. Please note that appointments book up several months in advance, so please plan ahead. If appointments are unavailable, please email SpayNeuterCenter@hawaiianhumane.org.
Hours of Operation
Appointments for owned cats and dogs are available on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays only.
Drop-Off
Owned Dogs and Cats: 7:00 am – 8:00 am
Pick-Up
Owned Dogs: 4:30 pm – 5:00 pm
Owned Cats: 5:00 pm – 5:30 pm
Phone calls and emails are answered Wednesdays – Saturdays, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.
