Grab your walking shoes, your furry friend and join the Hawaiian Humane Society on Saturday, October 26, 2024 for our 34th annual PetWalk at Kapiʻolani Park!

Join thousands of animal lovers at our annual fundraising event featuring a 1.8-mile dog walk, shopping vendors, live music, costume contests, and prizes—all to support over 12,000 animals cared for by the Hawaiian Humane Society each year.

On average, it costs $560 to support an animal’s journey at the Hawaiian Humane Society. Your support is vital, as we play an essential role in the Oʻahu community by offering programs and services that strengthen the human-animal bond.

This year’s event includes a pet costume contest, a variety of food and local vendors, entertainment, and we have a few exciting updates!

Team Gift: All dogs participants who are bringing a dog adopted from Hawaiian Humane Society, we invite you to come over to the Alumni Tent to pick up your FREE branded ribbon to show off as you walk around the park.

We are also thrilled to introduce the new Lazy Dog Registration for those that want to sleep in or can’t attend but still want to fundraise, this registration is perfect for you!

We are excited to announce we will have a Team Area for you to meet your fellow team members, get a refreshment and get your Team Photo! Join us for a fun-filled day in support of our furry friends!

Kosasa Family Campus at Hoʻopili: Sunday, October 20th | 12 PM – 3 PM

Event Day: T-Shirts can also be picked up on the day of the event, but please expect lines.

Costume Contest: Registration for the Costume Contest will be available on-site on the day of the event from 7 AM – 10 AM @ Bandstand

Costume Contest Categories – Entry fee: $5 per category

1. Most Creative: Showcasing unique and imaginative costumes.
2. Best Dog-Owner Look-Alike: Matching or themed attire for dogs and their owners.
3. Best Duo: Coordinated costumes for two or more pets or combinations of pets and owners.

Please ensure all pets are leashed and supervised. No off-leash pets are allowed. Mahalo for helping us keep the community safe.
