Hawaiian Humane partners with animal welfare and rescue organizations, both in Hawaiʻi and on the mainland, to find local animals a loving home. It is our shared goal to promote the human-animal bond and place animals in homes that best suit their needs.

Our current foster and off-site adoption partners include:

		Hawaiʻi Cat Cafe – Honolulu, HI Hawaiʻi Cat Cafe is dedicated to changing the lives of shelter cats, finding them new homes and educating the public about responsible pet ownership. Hawaiʻi Cat Cafe allows potential adopters to get to know the cats’ personalities in a fun environment while also enjoying delicious treats and beverages from their coffee bar!

		PAWS of Hawaii PAWS of Hawaii is a local, 501(c)3 non-profit, animal rescue on the island of Oʻahu. They are a foster-based organization. They work primarily in the homeless areas/camps of Oʻahu, helping to care for, take in and adopt out the animals in need. PAWS of Hawaii is committed to promoting awareness and support to animal guardians to ensure the proper treatment, well-being, love and quality of life of their animal friends.

		Petco – select Oʻahu locations We have partnered with Oʻahu’s Beretania, Ewa Beach, Hawaii Kai, Kaneohe, Kapolei and Waikele Petco locations to care for and offer adoptions of kittens and adult and senior cats. A robust team of offsite adoption volunteers from Hawaiian Humane assist at these locations, providing the cats with care and socialization, and answering any questions for potential adopters.

		Pounce Hawaii – Honolulu, HI Pounce Hawaii is both a luxury cat hotel as well as a cat lounge where the cats in their care have the opportunity to socialize with humans while they wait to be adopted. Whether you are looking to adopt, are considering adoption, or just want to visit with cats, Pounce Hawaii allows visitors to play and interact with cats from Hawaiian Humane in a casual environment.
